True Vision Launch Event
The Safer Middlesbrough Partnership in conjunction with the BME Network and other partner agencies has created a new website that can be used to report incidents of racial harassment. All incidents that are reported by victims or witnesses will be forwarded to Cleveland Police for action and to the Partnership for monitoring.
The website will be launched at the 'True Vision' Event at 11.00am on Tuesday 21st February 2006 at the Council Chambers in Middlesbrough Town Hall.
Individuals will now be able to report incidents at:
- any Council office
- Cleveland Police Stations in Middlesbrough
- Libraries
- the International Centre, Abindgon Road
- West Middlesbrough Neighbourhood Trust, Melbourne House, Newport.
- the Bus Station,
- any Erimus Housing office
- My Sisters' Place, Borough Road
- Grove Hill Resource Centre
- Middlesbrough Street Wardens
- Leena Homes
- or by logging onto www.reporthatecrime.co.uk
The event will open with a short training session commencing at 9.00am for staff from the reporting centres to learn more about the process.
